I updated the look of the menus on the home page to clean it up a bit. I also have several updates which I have now loaded to the website.
I have also made changes which should speed up the website. See our blog for more details.

I have added a pedigree link to the "Welcome" message for logged in users. Users will now see an icon next to their name that provides a link to their own profile. This applies to all users who are linked to the tree.

I have added a new feature that really shows where a person comes from; animated pedigree maps. These maps show where a person's ancestors were born, married, had their families and died. An animated map shows people's and families' movements through the course of their lives and down through the generations.
To see this new feature, go to a pedigree chart and click on 'Animated Map'. From here you can control how fast the map progresses, how many generations, etc. A special thanks goes to Mark Barnes for writing the code for this function.
